Chanelle is a former student of Coleg y Cymoedd Ystrad Mynach, where she studied painting at Levels 1 and 2. Four months into her first year, she was entered – and won – the Crown Painting Competition in Snowdonia. She is also a former finalist of New Construction Business in Wales.
Chanelle wanted to establish her own business and during her studies for Level 2, Lesley Cottrell suggested she seek support from Tafflab.
Tafflab mentored Chanelle; together with grants and support from Welsh Government and the Job Centre, Tafflab helped her realise her aim of creating the now very successful Lady Paint and Décor Company.
In Chanelle’s video below about her journey to date, Chanelle says that establishing your own business can be “daunting at first” but that there’s lots of help.
